Subtitles are useful. They are also compressed. Korean often carries information through tone, endings, honorific choices and what is left unsaid.

Start with the moment that made you curious.

Instead of treating a Korean expression as a single English equivalent, notice who is speaking, who they are speaking to, what just happened, and how the line sounds. Those small details can change the emotional temperature of a sentence.

Look at the words — then look around them.

This is the kind of gap Koree is interested in: the space between the words on the page and the meaning a Korean listener may actually take from them.
